Decorating our Place
This is NOT my specialty.  I can make fancy dinners; I can curl your hair for a night out and pick the perfect outfit if you have a date...but decorating...oh boy.  If I were in charge......our townhome might look like a college apartment with frameless posters of Bob Marley, tapestry for curtains and lots of furniture requiring self assembly.  But I'm not in charge. I have trouble seeing the big picture, I have no sense of conceptual space or how big a room is by eyeballing. I think everything will fit if you force it.

I religiously read design blogs to try and learn and grow as a home owner who desperately wants to be in charge of the decorating.  I think I am improving my skillz cause my hubby liked a few beauties I've shown him lately.

Soooo cozy! I can picture myself snuggled up in that chair, wrapped in that blanket and reading the hot Jennifer Weiner read of the moment! Love this little nook from Apartment Therapy!

Love, Love this bedroom look I found on Delight by Design.  One of my favorite things about this room is the navy accent on the dust ruffle and green accent on the table.  That little lamp is killer too.  I could never have mostly white anything though...because of the runny nose problem I shared a few posts back.  I do think this is stunning though.

These lamps are amazing.  I feel like this is how I would want to dress if I were a hallway table.  Found this highlighted on Annie Style. 

YUMMY! I love the wallpaper on the ceiling found on Decorology! and lots and lots of counter space for experiementing in the kitchen! And plenty of storage space for collecting all kinds of inspirational cookbooks by Jaime Oliver (simple recipes) and Curtis Stone (hottie) and Thomas Keller (that one is just for show).

Ooooh, animal print neutrals and a flat screen TV and lots of light, sign me up! Again, by Delight by Design.
