I have another man in my life
Reed Robertson...Nordstrom Personal Stylist!
I grew up in a family that embraced hand-me-downs. I grew up a mere 45minute drive from the closest shopping mall. I grew up in a town where the "Fashionbug" (a.k.a. Deb Store wanna-be) was the only place to buy jeans aside from the local Walmart. Once I started to care what I looked like, the grunge scene was alive and well and the Salvation Army was THE fashion mecca, hallelujah! A few seconds after living in Manhattan followed by marrying a guy that owns Gucci flip-flops (that he cleans with a tooth brush) I started to care more. I like to shop, but still require a little guidance. Enter my new boyfriend Reed.......
Reed: Don't worry Doll, I got it.
I show up and the room looks like this..............
Me: but they look too small and they are a weird length
Reed: Trust me, just do it:
Me: Oh..... they look hot...oh wow

The process is simple, you complete a questionnaire about your current style, your size, your favorite color, what's missing from your wardrobe, what your fashion goals are, will you wear stilettos, etc. You hand it over and Reed is off to the races. You show up and the dressing room is FULL of options and outfits. Its a free service....well until you spend a fortune on all the awesome stuff Reed picks out for you so SET A BUDGET before you go! This past holiday season, Reed put together a look book of the items I really liked, all my loved ones could call Reed if they were wanting to buy me a gift, uh yeah, awesome.

Reed Robertson, Nordstrom personal Stylist, is my guy. He will make me try it on even if I think I will hate it, even if I think it looks too small, even if I swore I would never where patterns with prints. He pulls a bunch of different looks before I even arrive depending on what type of event I am shopping for. He will stick within my budget, he will accessorize and he will help me pick something out for my lovely husband before I go home. TIME SAVER!
It goes something like this:
Me: OMG, I have this dinner thing to go to and I don't know what to wear and its casual but not too casual, and I want to wear a dress but maybe not or maybe shorts or maybe a skirt and I want to look like Cameron Diaz or maybe Nicole Ritchie or maybe not! Reed: Don't worry Doll, I got it.
I show up and the room looks like this..............
Me: those jeans look weird
Reed: try them on anywayMe: but they look too small and they are a weird length
Reed: Trust me, just do it:
Me: Oh..... they look hot...oh wow
Then we move on to shoes, accessories, etc....
Then I take pictures of myself and text them to my lovely husband for final approval.
Then I give Reed a giant Hug.
If you live in Dallas, reach out to him. he's amazing, and he's fun and he's a genious.
