As a special Valentine's day surprise, I decided to make my lovely husband a fresh batch of Ricotta & Blueberry pancakes, a specialty I love to make and he loves to eat! Much to my delight, egg number two produced a DOUBLE YOLK! I was so excited, I grabbed my camera and snapped about 22 pictures!
You must understand while growing up in my family, finding double yolk was like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, like winning the lottery, like your birthday 10 times over. I can remember a moment stadning in my grandparents' kitchen, watching my Bubby crack open a Double Yolk and the entire family was summoned to the Kitchen to admire and congratulate her fabulous fortune!
Many people say that a Double Yolk is a sign of Good Fortune, Plentitude or a Twins in the future....Oh My!!
